The application

First steps on Beebli

When you log into the app for the first time, press “Try Now” to create an account and get seven days free.  
 
Create your account by indicating your email address and choosing a password.
 
Choose the book themes you want to read. This choice will allow us to offer you a selection of books based on your tastes while also having access to the entire catalog.
You can change your reading themes at any time in your app settings.
 
If you have already created an account and are opening the app:

• Click on “Connect”
• Fill in the “Username” and “Password” fields as you choose them when registering.      

Home (home page)

Here are the different sections of the home page:

• Selection of new products that we offer you periodically.
• Select "For you" offering different themed titles based on your reading tastes.
• Last books consulted to find where you were.      
• Category shelves based on the reading themes you have chosen. 
• Gray navigation bar that allows you to navigate through the different sections of the application.        

Here are the different actions possible from the home page:

• For each category shelf, you can scroll through the books (right or left) to see more or press "See all" to see all the books in that category.     
• In the gray navigation bar: press on the Beebli logo to return to the home page at any time.
• In the gray navigation bar: press on “Search” to search for a book , an author or a category (topic).
• In the gray navigation bar: press on "My library" to access your personalized library: Your current reading, last books you read, your favorite books or to read later. You will also find your notes and the application settings.              

Research

The Search page allows you to search for books quickly by using a title or an author but also to find titles using keywords or according to a theme.
On this page you can also explore the different categories to discover all the richness of the Beebli catalog.
 

• General search (title or author) 
  In the search box at the top of the screen (which begins with a Magnifying Glass logo), enter the title, author's name, or keywords you want to search for.
  When you launch the search, you get two types of results:
  
  • Author: by clicking on the author's name, you can access all of his books available on Beebli.
  • Books: by pressing the name of the book, you access the book page.           

•  Search by topic (Categories)
  Under the search area, you will find all the categories offered by Beebli.

My library

This section brings together all your favorite books. It fills in progressively as you visit the following sections:

• Last books seen: find here the books you have seen and continue your reading where you stopped.  
• Read later: find here the books you have selected to read later.
• Favorite books: find your favorite books here.        
• My downloads: find here the books you have downloaded in order to read them offline.   
• My notes: find here the notes and highlighting that you have created during your reading.           

Titles

• Detailed page: to access the page of a title, tap on the book cover. On this page are:
  
  • The cover of the book with a read icon to access the content of the title
  • A star at the top-right corner that allows you to add the title to favorite books  
  • The title of the book
  • The author
  • The categories to which this book belongs
  • Two icons "I read this book" and "I like"
  • The summary of the book
  • A navigation bar with the icons "Read later", "Share", "Notes", "Download"
  • Suggestions for similar books
  • The technical page about the book
  • A link to buy the book in paper format        

• Favorite: to add a title to your favorite books, tap on the book cover to access its page. Then tap the star located at the top-right corner of the screen. You can then find this book in "My library" and "Favorite books"              

• Read later: to select a title to read later, tap on the book cover to access its page. Then scroll down to the navigation bar below the book summary and tap on the "Read Later" clock icon which is on the left of this bar. You can then find this book in "My library" and "To read later"                

• Share a title: to share a title, tap on the book cover to access its page. Then scroll down to the navigation bar below the book summary and tap on the “Share” paper plane icon which is in the middle of this bar.            

• Write down a title: to add notes to a book, tap on the book cover to access its page. Then scroll down to the navigation bar below the book summary and tap on the “Notes” icon in the middle. Enter the information you want to note and validate.            

• Download: to download a title to read it offline, tap on the book cover to access its page. Then scroll down to the navigation bar which is under the book summary and tap on the "Download" icon which is on the right. You can then find this book in "My library" and "My downloads"                 

My reading tastes

The application offers you automatic suggestions according to the categories you choose, but also according to what you like to read. You can change these suggestions at any time.
 

• Change my reading tastes 
  From the application home, tap on "My library" located in the gray navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. 
  At the top-right corner of the screen, tap on the star wheel to access the application settings. Tap on “My Reading Likes” and select or deselect the desired categories. 

• Change my library
  You can choose to have access to the Adult catalog or the Youth catalog.
  From the application home, tap on "My library" located in the gray navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. 
  At the top-right corner of the screen, tap on the star wheel to access the application settings. Tap on "Change my library" and select the desired library. 

• Change language       
  You can choose the display language of the application.
  From the application home, tap on "My library" located in the gray navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
  At the top-right corner of the screen, tap on the star wheel to access the application settings. Tap on "Change language" and choose the desired language.  

Read on Beebli

Reading options

Beebli gives you access to thousands of Christian books in one application. Here's how to start your reading experience on Beebli:  
 

• The basics of reading         
  When reading a book, tap the center of the screen to display the navigation panes.
  To go to the next page, tap on the arrow at the bottom-right corner or slide to the right (slide your finger at the bottom of the screen from the right side to the middle, like you would turn a page in a physical book)
  To go to the previous page, tap on the arrow at the bottom-left corner or slide to the left (swipe your finger at the bottom of the screen from the left side to the middle, like you would turn a page in a physical book)

• Browse a title         
  In the reading bar at the top of the screen, the title of the book and the chapter you are in are displayed.
  To go to the next page, tap on the arrow at the bottom-right corner or slide to the right (slide your finger at the bottom of the screen from the right side to the middle, like you would turn a page in a physical book)
  To go to the previous page, tap on the arrow at the bottom-left corner or slide to the left (swipe your finger at the bottom of the screen from the left side to the middle, like you would turn a page in a physical book)
  To change the chapter, tap on the “table of contents” icon at the top-right corner and tap on the chapter you want to read. If you want to go back to the book, tap "Back to Reading".   

• Text formatting (parameters)         
  In the settings bar at the bottom of the screen are several icons to make your reading experience more comfortable and personalized:
  
  • An arrow to return to the previous page        
  • A Search icon: when you tap on this icon, you access a search field which allows you to search for the desired word or words in the book.       
  • A Settings icon: when you tap on this icon, you open a customization pane.        
    
    • In the upper part, you can adjust the size of the font.       
    • In the lower part, on the left, you can change the font.       
    • In the lower part, on the right, you can modify the wallpaper (paper color: white, black or sepia).         

Reading features (highlighting, annotate, take notes)

When reading a book , you can highlight passages, annotate them, and take notes.
To do this, long press on the passage to highlight or annotate. You can use the two selection delimiters to enlarge or reduce the selected area.
A toolbar appears , offering you two options:

• Different colors to highlight the selected passage        
• An “Annotate” icon which allows you to take notes associated with the selected passage.           

Once the option has been chosen, tap on “Save” at the top-right corner of the screen to validate it.  
To take general notes about the book, tap the center of the screen to display the navigation panes, then tap the "Notes" icon at the bottom of the screen. Fill in the "Your notes on the book" field and tap "Save".       
You will also find on this page all the highlighted and annotated passages.

PDF / EPUB

Beebli allows you to read two different formats of titles: PDF and EPUB.
 

• What is a PDF      
  Titles in PDF format are ideal for zooming in directly with your fingers while maintaining high display quality. However, you will not have access to the playback features for this format.
  If you encounter difficulties with a PDF work , please write to us at [email protected].

• What is an EPUB         
  The EPUB is the traditional format of the digital book. It is a format that allows you to change the font, its size, but also allows you to access the reading features that we offer. However, you cannot zoom directly with your fingers, you need to use the font size settings.

Read offline / My downloads

Beebli allows you to read your books anywhere and anytime, even if you have no Internet network. For this, you must download the books you want to read in advance.
 

• To download a work
  Tap on the book cover to access its page. Scroll down the navigation bar located under the summary of the book and tap the icon "Download" located on the right. You can then find this book in “My library” and “My downloads”.     
  
  You can download up to 10 books to your library.

• To remove a title from your downloads list
  Go to the list of your downloads by pressing "My library" (located on the gray bar at the bottom of the screen), scroll down to "My downloads" and press "See all".    
  Scroll down to the title you want to remove from your downloads , press the 3 dots to its right and choose "Remove". A request for confirmation of deletion appears. Press "Delete" again to validate or "Cancel" if you wish to keep this title in your downloads.      

Difficulties in viewing a book

If you have difficulty opening a book or if it displays incorrectly, check that the title has loaded and that you have an Internet connection.
You can go back to the book page to reload it.

Packages and payments

Beebli seven days free

When you first connect to the application Beebli you directly access a trial period of seven days free.
During this period, you have access to all the features of Beebli.
At the end of the seven calendar days, you can choose the Beebli package that suits you from the three options offered (see “Beebli Beemium” below ).   
Once the package has been selected and registration has been validated, your subscription will then be debited each month on the anniversary date.
 
Example: If you start your trial period on May 10, you get seven free days, that is to say until May 16 inclusive. If you do not cancel your offer before May 16 inclusive, you will be debited on May 17, then June 17, July 17, August 17, and so on.

Beebli Beemium

After the seven-day trial, access the entire Beebli catalog and features, you have the choice between 3 packages:

• 1 screen simultaneously         
• 2 screens simultaneously        
• 4 screens simultaneously                  

Change package

• Upgrade to a higher plan
  In the settings of your applications , under "My account" or on the site www.beebli.com, click on "My account", then "My subscription" and on "Change offer".         
  You benefit immediately of the new offer, and will be charged the new amount from your next payment. You cannot downgrade to a lower offer until the next payment.
  
  Example: I have a "1 screen" subscription and I am debited on the 18th of each month. I switch to "2 screens" on April 25, I have 2 screens from April 25, I will be charged € 14.99 instead of € 9.99 from May 18.    

• Upgrade to a lower plan
  In the settings of your application , under "My Account" or on the site www.beebli.com, click on "My Account" then "My subscription" and "Change of supply".       
  You will be debited with the new amount from the next payment date which does not change. You will benefit from the lower package from this payment date.
  
  Example: I have a "2 screens" subscription and I am debited on the 18th of each month. I go to “1 screen” on April 25th, I continue to have 2 screens until May 17th. I will be charged € 9.99 instead of € 14.99 from May 18th.     

Unsubscribe

• You are subscribed via the Beebli website         
  In the settings of your application , under "My Account" or on the site www.beebli.com, click on "My Account" then "My subscription" and "Pause".       
  You can suspend your subscription at any time. It will be interrupted at the next payment date.
  After a year without reactivation, your account and your data (notes, bookmarks, highlighting,...) are deleted.
  
  Example: I was debited for the last time on March 18, 2020 , I request the suspension of my subscription on March 25, 2020 , my subscription is interrupted from April 18, 2020. Without resumption of subscription, my data will be deleted on April 18, 2021.

Resumption of a subscription

• Your subscription is suspended         
  In the settings of your application , under "My Account" or on the site www.beebli.com, click on "My Account" then "My subscription" and "Resume".       
  You can resume your subscription at any time. The amount of your subscription will be debited immediately and then each month on the anniversary date.
  
  Example: I reactivated my subscription on July 16. I was debited for the first time on July 16, 2020, then you will be debited on August 16, September 16, October 16, and so on.

• I have suspended my subscription, but this suspension is not yet effective         
  In the settings of your application , under "My Account" or on the site www.beebli.com, click on "My Account" then "My subscription" and "Resume".       
  Your suspension request is then canceled and you will continue to be debited as before your suspension request.

Payment problem

• How do I change my bank details?          
  Go to the settings of your applications, under "My account" or on the site www.beebli.com, in "My account" section, then "My payments".       
  Under "My payment method", click on "modify" to enter your new banking information.   

• Refund         
  If you have noticed a direct debit error, contact us at [email protected], specifying the problem encountered and your username.

•  Direct debit even after cancellation         
  If you have noticed a charge despite your cancellation, contact us at [email protected], specifying the problem encountered and your username.

Currency relative to the country

You have the choice between 5 currencies for the payment of your subscription: €, $ US, $ CAD, CHF or CFA.

Account and Profiles

Create an account

To create an account, download the application Beebli, open it and click on "Try it now".  
Enter your email address and choose a password.

How to connect?

In the Beebli app, tap "I already have an account" and enter your credentials.  
On the site www.beebli.com , click on " Connection " and enter your login details.  

Connection problem

• Login to an account         
  If you encounter a connection problem, contact us at [email protected], specifying the problem encountered and your username.

•  Forgotten password and getting a new password         
  On the login page, click on "I forgot my password". You will then receive a reset email. Click the link to choose a new password. 
  This reset link has a limited duration, if it no longer works, click again on “I forgot my password” to receive a new reset email.
  If, despite everything, you encounter a problem, contact our customer service at [email protected] specifying the problem encountered and your username.

Modify my personal information

In the settings of your application under “My Account” or on the site www.beebli.com, click on “About Me”.

Management of account issues

• I do not have access to the Beebli catalog.         
  You may have deactivated your account. To check it, go to www.beebli.com and click on “My account” then “My subscription”. On this page, you can see your subscription, its renewal date and change offers. If instead you have a "Resume" button , it means your subscription has been suspended. Click on “Resume” to have access to Beemium again.       
  If your account is active and you still do not have access to the catalog, you can log out of the application and relaunch it.
  If the problem persists, send us an email to [email protected] specifying the problem encountered and your username.

• Manage my notifications         
  If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter of Beebli, you can click on the link “Unsubscribe me" at the bottom of each email. 
  If you no longer wish to receive notifications:
  
  • on your iOS device: go to your phone's settings, “Notifications”, scroll down to “Beebli” and deactivate notifications using the slider.
  • on your Android device: go to your phone's settings, “Notifications”, scroll down to “Beebli” and deactivate notifications using the slider.     

Profile

• Create a profile         
  
  • On the site www.beebli.com, click on “My account”, then “My subscription” and scroll down to profiles. Under the existing profiles, click on “ Add a profile”.     
  • On the Beebli application, in your settings click on "Manage my profiles", then "Add a profile".   

• Modify a profile         
  
  • On the site www.beebli.com, click on “My account”, then “My subscription” and scroll down to profiles. Under the profile you want to edit, click on the pencil edit icon.   
  • On the application Beebli in your settings click on "Manage my profile" then on the profile you want to edit, click on the pencil edit icon.

• Delete profile         
  
  • On the site www.beebli.com, click on “My account”, then “My subscription” and scroll down to profiles. Under the profile you want to delete, click on the trash can delete icon.   
  • On the application Beebli in your settings click on "Manage my profile" and under the profile you want to remove, click on the trash can delete icon.

• Change profile         
  In the Beebli application, press “Library” (located on the gray bar at the bottom of the screen), then on the configuration cogwheel located at the top-right corner of the screen and press “Manage my profiles”, then, “Change profile”.
